This step is an example how legends could be added to the tree generated in step one.

Procedure

New legends are anchored on the node(s) selected when New legend is clicked and get the same text value as the (first) selected node. (See Anchoring legends for details.)

• The first legends are inserted and afterwards their text is edited.

• For legends which label an internal nodes (and their subtrees) you can alternatively first change the name of the internal node (which is not displayed) and add the legend afterwards so that it directly displays the desired text. It is done this way with the Letters- and Digits-legend.

• Finally the Letters- and Digits-legend are formatted using the Element formats-dialog to be positioned further right than the other legends and directly below each other. Furthermore their style is changed.
