Node/branch data is used in TreeGraph 2 as a generic term that describes different types of data associated with a node or a branch. Different operations like deleting, copying or rescaling can be applied to one type of node/branch data in a whole document. A type of node/branch data is sometimes also referred to as node/branch data column (because it appears as discrete column in the table of the document window).
Besides branch length, text labels or terminal node names there are several other ways to visualize numeric values attached to nodes or branches (Hidden node/branch data). Some examples are listed in the article Visualizing node/branch data.
